The Rose
Service Details
The Rose is a transitional supportive housing model in central Halifax with program and office space for on-site support staff including a Social Worker, Client Support Staff, a Recreational Programmer, and a Facility Manager. In addition to our residential building, there is a community center where we are able to offer programs and services to families residing at The Rose, Adsum clients, and the wider community.

Who the Rose supports
The Rose primarily supports families who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. We began operations at The Rose in November 2024 and have since completed renovations on 24 apartments (5-bedroom, 4-bedroom, 3-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 1-bedroom units). Each floor has designated play/common spaces for families that houses various games and books available to residents. The Rose also offers recreational programming for families.
This is a referral based intake program.
