The Alders has 10 apartments, eight one-bedrooms and two two-bedroom units. Staff is on site a few days each week to provide advocacy, referrals, group programming, and individual counseling.

Who The Alders supports
The Alders provides a supportive community for women and gender-diverse individuals. One-on-one, client-focused support and group programming combine to help residents work on the independent living goals they set for themselves in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
This is a referral based intake program.
Drop-In at the Alders
In addition to housing, The Alders also provides a drop-in service where women and gender-diverse individuals can access services such as social work support, meals, snacks, coffee, phone and computer use, shower, and laundry services for women and gender-diverse community members. The Alders Community Space and shower is accessible for those with a mobility impairment.
I am so incredibly grateful that organizations like Adsum exist. It gives me hope that all people experiencing IPV can leave and end up leading happy and healthy lives. We can heal. We can be safe. We can build a new foundation and we can thrive again.
