More than a decade ago, Craig Sampson visited Adsum House as part of a volunteer group from NSCC. The work of Adsum left such an impression on Craig that he organized a group of volunteers to come to Adsum House the next Christmas to help with our gift wrapping day and prepare a feast of turkey and all of the fixings for our residents, staff and volunteers.
In the time since his first visit Craig has begun a successful career, got married and is now a father to two beautiful daughters. This past December Craig organized a group of his friends, co-workers and family and brought holiday joy – and a great meal – to Adsum for the eleventh time.
And the folks at Adsum aren’t the only ones who appreciate all that Craig does for our organization – last year he was honoured with a volunteer award by the Halifax Regional Municipality for his commitment to Adsum and his work in making our community a better place to live.
